*Mother's Day Appreciation BBQ

The Shoes For Liberiap project extends Happy Mother's Day greetings to all!

"Mom" is the first word a child says when he/she learns to speak, and even when she is no more, her image in our hearts manage us to smile even in the lowest period of our lives and urge us to go on. Happy Mother's Day!!!

We would like to invite all the mothers (especially the single moms) and the entire family to our Annual Shoes for Liberia Mother's Day Appreciation Barbeque. We appreciate your sacrifice in bringing forth the best Liberia has to offer.

There will be lots of games and activities for the entire family, and we will be accepting gently used and new shoes donation during the BBQ.

Your footwear and financial donations over the years have helped us realize that we all see the importance to assist those less fortunate in our sweet land of liberty, Liberia. Hopefully, this awareness will encourage others to join us in making a difference in Mother Land Liberia.

Give them more reasons to smile this Father’s Day! We honor our fathers, grandfathers and special men in our lives, with a day of their own. Honor someone special today and make a donation – give the gift of hope – make a difference by supporting all the work that The Shoes For Liberia Project does to provide shoes to unprivileged families in Liberia.

As you may know, the most important factor in a child’s upbringing is whether the child is brought up in a loving, healthy, supportive environment. Father-child interaction has been shown to promote the positive, physical, social, emotional, and mental development of children – and we encourage that.

Now it’s your turn to express your love for your father. This year, we encourage you to show your support by donating to The Shoes For Liberia Project – we collect new and gently used shoes and distribute them to deserving people in Liberia.

This is our biggest benefit event of the year. It's an evening of beautiful African fashion, cocktail reception, networking, silent auction, raffle, and honoring program. This event is held every November.
